Come and join me at the Adventure Centre where the gentlemen that are involved with the Sea to Sky Gondola proposal (this is the Gondola that is proposed to go up near the Chief) have graciously agreed to come, upon my request, to present their proposal and answer any questions that you may have. They are also very much interested in hearing what you have to say. If you have not seen their presentation it is worth while to do so. It will help you to be better informed on what is going on this community. I am involved with an event which is being held at the Squamish Adventure Centre from 9:00AM to 1:00PM tomorrow - Saturday, June 18th.
This is a FREE EVENT where you can get your car seat checked with a certified specialist. Last year a similar event was held in the Sea-To-Sky Corridor and it was found that 92% of car seats were installed incorrectly. Across Canada the failure rate for car seats is over 70%. This is simple and quick thing that you can do to keep your child safe. Make sure to bring your child so that the certified technician can ensure the seat is safe and fits your child appropriately.
There will also be a Fire Truck on site for the kids to check out!
